Posting this in case it can help somebody else.
My machine is nearly 4 years old and well maintained.
Recently began to not complete coffee. Would grind and then halt the process.
My solution was to disconnect machine from power socket, remove infuser and the plate at the back of the infuser (held on by 5 screws). Then carefully remove the build-up of gunk with toothbrush and by steam-cleaning.
Machine now appears to work.
