Greater London, England

I got myself something to experiment and ended up with a surplus wooden steam knob. It will work with almost all 6mm D shafts, but I made it for my Lelit Victoria.

Is it 100% perfect? No, but it’s half the price of the Etsy equivalent and exponentially better looking than the plastic one.

Selling it for £20 plus postage. I’m in London if you prefer pick up in person

These look lovely! I might well be interested… Can I ask what wood you used? Also, is the round one grippy enough or is it helpful to have the edges of the other designs?

@Beethovens_Beans thank you.
The flower design wood is beech.
The round one is walnut and there’s no issue with the grip, especially because it’s 40mm diameter, giving you more torque than the original. Frankly, after going through the process of making the flower ones I’ve decided to stick with the original design.

Yes, pull out your the existing one and then slide the new one in. These have 3mm screws on each side to secure them to the steam tap rod. You need a small Allen key. I’m away this week so I can’t measure it, but I might find one Allen key to include in the package if you don’t have one.
