San Remo use the E61 group head & traditional HX system heating ; Spaziale have their own design which uses a narrow & deep portafilter; plus steam heating of the HX system.

Where are you based ? Do they have an engineer who is near to your premises ?

 

HI, based in Manchester so they are pretty close. Don't see engineer accessibility being a problem. I hear alot about Spaziale's steam heat exchange, and sounds like their main USP. Is it all that it's cracked up to be? From an aesthetic point of view I'd be drawn towards the Sanremo. Some good looking machines their pumping out!!

 

I'm taking my machine to them on Monday.

They rang me this morning, offered to come out to service it.

I said I would come up because I felt, from the phone conversation, that it would be more than just a drop my machine off and go.

I've got to say that certainly came across this morning, on the phone and it made me want to drive up there.

My stepson is coming back from uni in Sheffield, tomorrow afternoon, he wants to come up with me. I know we will both get a lot more than a repaired machine from the morning.
