If you dont get a definitive answer I would buy a set of Calipers (A useful tool to have anyway, can be had for under £3 on Amazon if you want a plastic one from china)

And measure the thread width and pitch, which should tell you if ones from other machine will fit.

 

Hi Marc, back in 2015 when I bought my Pro-700 I've actually tested this at Bella Barista. The Izzo one fitted the Pro-700 perfectly. The Rocket ones did not.

Saying that, I am aware that the design of the Pro-700 has changed since (it now uses a Teflon tube as an insulator instead of a silicone one), so, it *might* no longer be the case.

You could give BB a ring and ask them to check it for you I suppose, providing the machines they have on the counter are the same design as the one you have.

 

Steam tip threads are normally 8 mm or 10 mm, male or female. The insulating tube usually fits into a recess in the steam tip, I have only come across one tip with a spigot for the insulation hose. Other than size and M /F many tips are common to various machines.

 

Thanks for the info all. I've been in contact with BB and they've informed me that the Expobar tips will fit a Profitec 700. I've got the latest version. I'll report back once I've received it.
