gotta check out the laminating guys at Koenigsegg, they do full carbon rims for their super cars. Lots of forces and heat to withstand there...

That's actual carbon fibre as opposed to a vinyl wrap

glad you picked up my lead [emoji41]

We also have actual stainless steel panels and actual wooden handles on our machines as opposed to vinyl wrap [emoji6]

In my role as an industrial designer I work with materials every day. A big part is convincing everybody in a project to utilise a convincing selection of materials. Because this is where a user meets a product with all senses.

I think your right @Hasi It would require real carbon fibre to make a durable base for a Pav, should only cost £500 each, great material but probably best costed to projects such as exotic sports cars, oh well back to the powder coaters ?

My car is carbon fibre and a bit of aluminium (mostly).

It is yes. Not a car I would recommend (over priced and expensive to maintain), but at least environmentally neutral in it's manufacture.....not so sure about it's realistic life due to the possibility it will become uneconomical to repair/maintain past 7 years or so?
