Hi. Our Wilfa Svart is on its last legs. It had the grinding problem that seems to be common. Hubby changed the capacitor and it works better but still not like it was. It is mainly used for an Aeropress. I was going to just replace it with another Wilfa but fear the same will happen again some time down the line.
Can anyone recommend an alternative model to replace the Wilfa?

This mostly leaves you with the Baratza Encore as an option.

There is the Solo USB grinder at Bella Barista, very new so I don't know how durable this will be when used as a main grinder, but it does come with a crank handle for manual grinding too.

Fellow have a price drop on the V1 Ode at £159 on Amazon UK, this might only be an option for you if you brew Aeropress with coarser grinds though. Not suitable for fine grinds.

I picked up an Ode as just couldn't resist the price drop. It is pretty messy grinder, I'm finding it easier to keep the lid off the catch cup & using the grounds knocker is a must. Whilst it doesn't grind very fine, it has the V1.1 burrs and grinds finer than I was led to believe, OK for short steep, updosed Aeropress brews.
