Unfortunately I can't justify this lovely machine in my 70sqft kitchen.
Rancilio S24 Heat Exchanger Single Group Tank fed Light commercial / Pro domestic Coffee / Espresso Machine from 2003.

Big thumbs up for @espressotechno for the help and support during the rebuild.
I've recently purchased it, it was sitting in storage, waiting for rescue for about a year.
After a complete tear down, it was clear the teardown wasn't necessary at all. It had very moderate and gentle use in it's previous life.
Once it was in bits, obviously I cleaned everything - driven by OCD - to get it back to its former sheen, when it has left the factory.
Now it works as a new one, and I'm pulling spectacular shots with it - it is in daily use until being rehomed.
PROS:
Rocker switch (not likely to fail and cheap to replace, unlike newer versions with the microswitch board)
Horrific steam power (makes decent microfoam in seconds)
Steam during brewing (heat exchanger system)
Tank fed (no need for plumbing in, however it could be done)
Extremely stable temperature (3.9l boiler)
Hot water tap (perfect for tea, bang on 100 C°)
Spacious cup warmer surface
Large drip tray
Built to last
CONS:
Dimensions/weight (w/h/d 380/465/515mm / 31kg)
Heating up time (~30-45 mins, however keeping it on all day costs around 50p/day)
Small marks on side panels
Tiny reservoir (it stops brewing when the reservoir runs below a certain level)
Comes with:
Commercial double spout portafilter
Genuine Rancilio double filter basket (in really good shape)
Blank filter basket (for backflushing)
2x rubber group head seal (I doubt it will be needed any soon, as I just put a Cafelat silicone seal in)
1 brand new and 1 used (but good condition) shower screens.
Some spare o rings.

As it is a 17 years old machine, no warranty or returns, I'm afraid.

Boiler 3.9l copper
Reservoir 2.0l

Any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
