I have an old Gaggia Classic that looks to be a 2002 model made in Italy, which is currently not working and therefore will very likely need some repairs. It's got quite a bit of rust on the body (it was like that when I bought it!), a dented top, rusty screws, and the portafilter has seen far better days (it and the basket is pretty black and the plastic handle seems a bit broken).
For background, I put it away in the garage in November 2020 after I got a new espresso machine at which point it was working and I was using it daily. Before putting it away I remember running the machine without water in the tank to try and empty the boiler of water for storage. This month (~4 years later) I took it back out of the garage to see if it still worked and unfortunately it seems that something is not right and I can't get it to work.
It's located in Milton Keynes and I would prefer collection if anyone was interested.

- When turning on the machine and pressing the brew button, the pump makes a loud sound and doesn't draw any water from the tank
- Opening the steam wand and turning on the brew button (both with steam button on or off) also draws no water
- I attempted to "prime" the boiler by forcing some water through the tube into the boiler, but it seemed to flow out of the opening back into the tank and not through the group head or steam wand
