With 2009 rapidly coming to an end I'd like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for joining Coffee Forums UK over the past 18 months.

We've had an influx of members over the past 2 months, and this has resulted in more traffic and a greater number of topics / questions and general banter.

We've taken active steps to reduce forum spam and the new registration process has been generally well received, despite a couple of members ip addresses being inaccurately flagged as spam. We have removed the spam flag from these ips and shared this information to ensure your signups to other forums are not affected.

2010 is shaping us to be a good year for coffee in the UK. The WBC is being hosted in London and the UK heats are already in the advanced planning stages. Audience support is always welcomed and we encourage you to attend 1 or more UKBC events if possible.

There are some exciting (and possibly controversial) campaigns just around the corner so watch this space for more information.

Some new industry alliances have been formed recently and we have invited the founders to spread the word on the forum.

Lastly, we embrace coffee education and invite you to check out other forums and websites, such as TooMuchCoffee, CoffeeGeek and Home Barista, to gain a rounded version of events.

Thanks for your support in 2009 and we look forward to being your forum of choice in 2010.

Suggestions are always welcomed and new moderator positions will also become available early in the new year. PM us for more information.

We hope you have a safe and happy new year.

Best wishes from Coffee Forums UK
