Bambini plus vs Dedica (durability)

I owned and used a Dedica for three years. They come with pressurised baskets as standard with a 51mm portafilter. The stock steam wand is a bit rubbish, you would struggle to make latte art with it. I installed a Rancillo silvia wand instead which was really nice and gave good results. Overall I enjoyed using it but soon out grew its limitations and inevitably upgraded. I would say it is a good "starter" espresso machine but there are better second hand espresso machines out there for the same price and would be worth a look. Don't dismiss the Gaggia Classic on cup size alone, you can always buy a smaller cup!

What grinder are you planning on pairing it with?

Got a milk frothner so I won't use the wand.

I could get smaller cups but for latte's I just love taller cups.

As far as grinder goes, got a sage SGP, sure It's not stepless, but being able to select a specific dose is important to me.
SGP is decent for the size/price. Couldn't you decant your espresso from standard espresso cups into your preferred taller mug?
