I think it's coming - they're expecting to start shipping in August I think. Anyone preordered? I might. It seems a decent price for a well thought out bit of kit. I don't know how well the grind adjustments are suited (are the spacings too big per setting?). No idea if it'll do for dialing in...

Hello everyone, This is my first foray into a coffee forum so hello, I'm Richard, 40, from Essex. I'd like some advice please on a mechanical grinder a friend bought back from Italy, photo will be posted. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but it takes a long long time to get enough...

Has anyone here got one of these beautiful looking Rosco hand grinders? http://www.portaspresso.com/page007.html I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts - especially comparison with Feldgrind or similar/

Hi all, I'm in the market for a new grinder, and have decided on a hand grinder due to the amount of travel that I do. My first choice would have been the Lido E as I'll mainly be grinding for espresso. Unfortunately the Lido E is out of stock for the next couple of months. My alternative was...

Absolutely pristine! Bought from here in early November as new and only used for one short trip. Acquisition of Feldgrind renders this surplus to requirements. Complete with box, instructions, cover and tools. £125 posted or £120 collected. David

Has anyone tried these out? They look a bit like a Porlex but I suppose it all comes down to the Burrs and build quality http://www.amazon.co.uk/iNeibo-Stainless-Adjustable-Burr-Perfect-Traveling/dp/B015E6WBTC

Saw this over on HB after seeing it mentioned elsewhere so thought I would pop it up here. It's always good to see new entrants to the 'high-end' hand grinder market. They look beautifully made, all metal polished construction, will be interesting to see how they perform when they get released...

Going on holiday on Saturday and I'm fairly sure the places I'm staying will not have any facilitates in the room for making drinks. I have therefore been considering the bare minimum I'd need to take in order to make good coffee. Hand Grinder, CCD + filters, drug dealer scales (with mat so CCD...

Hiya all, I have revisited my love for coffee at home and bought a Gaggia classic. I don't have much budget left. Are there any hand grinders up for the job for espresso? Thanks Karl

Hi All, Any advice on a cheap (£100 new or s/hand) grinder for brewed? Looking for electric only, I have a hand grinder already, but I find it takes too long and gave myself some kind of carpal tunnel syndrome after using it too much in one day. Thanks in advance! Mike

Just saw this on Twitter. Take a look at @orphanespresso's Tweet: Still have to remove the grounds from the bottom chamber through a hole. Anti static plastic might make it easier. Will probably wait to see if there are any problems with the first batch rather than pre-order.

Hi all, I'm currently saving for an espresso grinder to couple with my Gaggia Classic. At the minute, i'm using a Hario slim and it's doing a decent job. Only problem is, the hexagonal 'peg' where the handle fits became worn after ~2 months and now, no grinding occurs unless i stuff the hole...

I've got too many grinding options, so to speak, so offered for sale this Grunwerg stainless steel and acrylic hand grinder (see info on York Coffee Emporium site) for £15 delivered. I've used it about 5 times whilst travelling and I've upgraded everything since, so it's just going unused...

Hi folks My birthday is approaching and I've decided I'd like to try and build myself a little travel set up as a treat. I started with a Skerton and Aeropress, along with the metal filter, but as per usual, you jump into a rabbit hole and now I'm not sure... Rhino/Porlex/Hario grinder; Clever...

After the postie has been today I should be a proud owner of a new walnut Hausgrind (thanks nick) As its new I am assuming from what I have read in other previous posts it's burrs will benefit from 'seasoning' as I have never had to do this before any tips or guidance would be appreciated .

Just starting out on my coffee journey by recently purchasing a Gaggia Classic which I've done a couple of the recommended mods to. I've made the rookie mistake of not having any money for a grinder but I now have a very modest budget (just above £100) to get my hands on one. I am pondering on...

Can't believe I've missed this one until today. I can't seem to find a specific thread for the soon to be released Rok hand grinder so thought I'd get one going (mod's let me know if I'm duplicating). Anyone from on here on the list to get one? I very nearly signed up for the grinder and...
