    Due to supplier response( Caffe Italia) I’ve tried sending email direct to Rancilio on there customer service portal for clarification and explanation of cause….(sent 24th may) unfortunately as yet no response . Starting to lose faith in company, perhaps I should cut my losses and return!

    I don’t think I’ve not had it long enough to do that!…. This happened straight out the box… think I should return?…. I’ve reported to supplier caffe italia, told to rinse through more times🤷‍♂️

    Thanks for reply, no back flushing yet….that makes sense regarding ’purge wand’… although it’s not referenced by that name on any sales lit. Not unreasonably II wouldn’t expect to have to clean a brand new machine before I’ve even used it.

    I paid extra because this machine has dual boilers…hot water is heated independently for steaming and I thought making Americanos… however in reality muddy water is being discharged. No one seems to be able to explain why it’s dispensing this colour with rusty sediment…..is it possible it’s rust?

    Thanks for response… couple of observations then, what exactly is hot water dispenser used for if not to make americanos? Also why is there sludge in a brand new machine? something seems amiss here and I’m not sure what is the cause, but I am disappointed a new machine has this issue.
