@facboy Yeah, at least that long, maybe 4 weeks, though hard to remember. I had something turn up yesterday -a free gift for creating an account- that was ordered about 3 months ago! ๐Ÿคช

+1 recommendation for that - one of the best accessories I've bought! Very well made and makes for a really clean and tidy workflow. Like how deep the sides are so there's loads of room for a poke about

As a belated update, if it's useful for people, I ended up buying the 53mm leveller from Wish and it's doing a fine job. The Wish site/app is totally bonkers and the price changes depending on codes/time/which way the wind is blowing - by playing about with various approaches I ended up getting...

The bad review is because they bought the wrong one! There is a 53mm version (which I'm entertaining for a sage dtp)

Resurrecting this thread to see if anyone, 3 years later, experienced any issues with using only bottled water and NOT using the filter? I've just started on a new DTP and intend to use bottled water only (our tap water is hard as nails) and avoid the filter altogether ...unless anyone advises...

Interesting review ...especially the lazy man's dripper! @DavecUK please can you let me know what this is? It would be ideal if I ever make it back to the office, instead of getting stick for extended coffee breaks with my kettle companion

Just in case this sale has stalled / Sarzah no longer wants to purchase I would match the offer (only matching so I'm not stepping on anyone's toes!) - if it's still available.

Within a week I had gone from lurking to joining ... to spending a few hundred pounds more than originally intended!

Thanks I'm keeping an eye out for a second hand mignon though a bit short on time - it's supposedly a birthday present to myself for next week. I almost bought the niche in the classifieds yesterday before checking in with myself that a ยฃ400 first purchase grinder was perhaps getting a bit...

Thanks! Are you on standard settings for espresso grinding or any adjustments needed? If I'd paid ยฃ60 I wouldn't be having any regrets. ยฃ175 is a bit more ?

That's what I was afraid of. Had been eyeing up the niche for sale in classified section and trying to stop myself spending such a lot of money from the off. So this is what I'm hoping, as it seems more sensible - a couple of years on this until I'm able to actually appreciate the difference...

I'm new here after buying a SGP (currently waiting for delivery) but started getting the typical buyer's remorse that comes from reading too many opinions form people who have machines in a different class/budget! I know it's not perfect, and no machine will be at this price point, but reviews...
