    Great! Many thanks for the tips! I love ding different coffee experiments at home. I can only add - watch videos, there are so many of them on youtube and at the end of the day, the best way to learn (at least for me) is by watching!

    I'd recommend bar Italia as well. Their coffee is the closest to a real Italian espresso you can find in (relatively) central London.

    Funny story. Not to disappoint, but recently I had a similar story involving a large Machiatto being spilled right on my new laptop. Perhaps I did something wrong or the coffee Gods don't like me as much as they like you, but the machine never worked after that. Thank god it was still in warranty!

    I guess it really depends on how you like to take your coffee. If you are a traditional espresso fan such as me just add a pinch of cinnamon in the filter. I really like the gentle christimasy scent of cinnamon, without ruining my coffee.
