    Interesting- was just about to pull the trigger on the new GCP, but seeing this maybe a used (and older!) machine may be better a better call. Indeed I think I (and many others) are drawn to this machine as a starting point due to all the good reviews so far - including from coffee "jesus"...

    similar question along the same lines - how do you deal with grinder retention? do you blow air through your grinder? do you have a special set of bellows? Would be keen to see what set up single dosers in the forum have!

    Thanks! Good shout on the grinder... I've been on a cheap Baratza but lurking around the forums to upgrade to something like a Eureka Specialita. Seems like the reviews for the Eureka are not bad. On PID, I guess I will give my new machine a go first before sinking another 100quid on it - but...
