Yes, the Lelit screen is the one that came with the Bianca. Once I changed them out for the EMS I left it on. In my opinion the VST baskets will hold 2 more grams of coffee than stated. Most of my shots are 18gms and I use the 18 grams basket. There is still plenty of headroom.

I am experimenting with the IMS E61 200M and VST 20grm basket vs OEM Lelit screen and basket. I just started this morning and have no definitive comments but after dialing in I "think" there was more clarity. Enough to convince me that I am going to keep using the bottom two screen and...

Dave, Thank you. You did an incredible review of the Bianca. I have it permanently archived in my Bianca folder and I refer to it regularly. Respectfully please. I have played the part where you adjust the lever several times and it's a bit confusing to me. I think you have already...

I have looked through the Bianca Manual to directions on how to set the PADDLE so that when it's all the way back against the face of the machine flow will be completely cut off. Right now there is still a dribble of water when in this position. If any knows where I might find a description of...

I agree with Jason. It appears you have done a good job prepping your puck before you tamped.

I am trying to get in the habit of back flushing once a week. Most of the time I use plain water but I used carfiza last week. I have only had my Bianca for about a month.

Did you clean the reservoir before you used it? Did you use detergent when you back flushed?

https://coffeeforums.co.uk NCRC51.....Noticed you are writing from North Carolina. I am in Greensboro. A good friend of mine is a coffee distributor and he brought me Bianca to try this past weekend. It took only a few shots to realize this is different than my Londinium. I love my...

Curious what the drawbacks of the Robur E might be. I have had one for a year, use it as a single dose grinder and it has been fantastic. Zero retention once the screen inside the funnel is removed. Rob

Good luck with Cafe-kultur. I tried for months to buy three tampers but it was not a good experience. I sent around $400 for the tampers and waited and waited. Got nervous and cancelled. May be better now. Good luck.....I really like Torr tampers.

I also have a 58.3mm convex Reg Barber tamper that I ordered directly from Reg Barber in Canada. Shipping is very expensive to the U.S. from Canada but may not e to the UK. I also have a 58.3 mm convex made by Torr which I prefer but this size can no longer be bought from their distributor in...

I have had my Bonavita since last summer and it has made the coffee making process using a Hario V60 a whiz. I use 19 grams coffee and 304 grams of water. I set the V60 on a scale while pouring. Good luck....you will be happy with the Bonavita. Others have reported a build up of deposits...

I love tampers and would have a shelf full but finding really nice, unique tampers in the U.S. is like running into a wall. I have one tamper and it's a Torr with a 58.3mm base. Love it. I have tried to use a 58mm but they feel strange and don't roll roll the coffee up the sides like the...

I first became informed about Kopi Luwak in the movie "Bucket List." Probably not alone. However I have never tasted it but my imagination does flips when I think about it. In fact I think about changing my daughter's diapers and gagging. Not fair to your coffee but I doubt that I am alone...

I have never used a pressurized basket so not credible on commenting. However I start timing when the first drop hits the cup and yes I measure the crema just like you stated....25-30 seconds.
