I've been meaning to check these guys out and now have the motivation to. Will be walking past their van tomorrow so maybe I'll skip the morning extraction at home
  4. ๐Ÿ”Ž Find a Coffeeshop ๐Ÿ”
I thought these were only in Bristol. They seem to setup away from the decent independent places and therefore become the best in the immediate area. Was happy to find one in westbury-on-trym when house hunting there. Decent sarnie too

I'm interested in doing cold brew, but with more of a daily turnaround. So 23.5 hours would be my maximum brew time. How can I get this down? Maybe a finer grind?

Paper filters are better, as you can just pop them with the puck straight in the bin. Metal filter is fiddly to clean, considering that the aeropress should take about 2 seconds to clean in total

I tamp on a granite worktop. Am I crazy? Never considered tamping on a special surface. What difference does it make?

It seems you should be able to get a good machine and grinder in the budget. How long does a good grinder last - forever?

Hi smeggy sound alike you've had a bad run of breakdowns. I hope you get a sturdy machine that will last a number of years. I'm also new and hoping for the same. Let me know how you get on. never tried a brick-I currently use a hario hand grinder - good for aeropress but I fear it is totally...

I've been using an aeropress for the last few years but have been staying with a friend who owns a gaggia baby and iberital grinder for the last month whilst between houses. the friend is pretty obsessive with his...
