    After 8 lovely years my classic was needing something. Coffee tasted rough.. A new s/s portafilter and shower screen set has made a HUGE unimaginable difference to the taste of my coffee.. Despite regular cleaning I realised behind the shower was in a terrible state see pics!

    Spot on advice. We love our classic and its dead easy to service and clean (this is vital if you want good service from her). If left uncleaned, unserviced you WILL get problems. The boiler will collect black bits at the bottom over time (even with regular decalcing) and sometimes the small hole...

    Wow, just had the most loveliest macchiato at coffee 2 this morning! (probably one of the most enjoyable drops of goodness that ive ever had!) Union beans in abundance and a nice relaxed (and non poncy) atmosphere. Just what i needed after the Neil Young gig last night! Well recommended folks!!!

    Me too! Love the look of the lever although cant help to notice the hype surrounding the cherub...I like the fact that francino is uk based but I recall some reports that the drip tray on cherub is a tad narrow.. The lever is reported to run hot requiring a cool flush before extraction
