    Just opened my bag of this yesterday, having been delivered about a week ago. No roast date on the bag but fancied trying it. So far so good, still getting the grind set up but I like it better than any of the others before it I think. Small beans, Central American I think?

    I'm looking to replace an ailing Silvia with a lever machine, not quite ready to spend big ££ on a DB or HX yet plus the space in the kitchen for coffee stuff is small until we move house. A lever will be a bit of a learning curve but I think I can manage it. La Pavoni is pretty much my choice...

    Tried my 11 out today, 6 days post-roast. First shot with 18g at my usual fresh-roasted grind level was a bust but then I went with 16g dialled back to a finer grind and that was great (didn't weigh the output or time it). Never did like 10 much though 9 was pretty good.

    Yes, the identical white sticker on all three bags says 5/2 so the day they packed it I assume. Will ring them tomorrow to ask.

    Ordered Tues this week. Shipped Wed. One bag says hand-roasted 1/2 the other hand-roasted 4/2. The big kg bag says nothing. I am assuming Mystery 10 is probably the least rested? The note I put in the order was highlighted in the paper copy that was included, so I would hope that would mean...

    That's what I mean, the batch code (white sticker) is identical on all 3 bags, despite different roasting dates on the 2 non-Mystery bags.
