    No it's not doserless. It has a 600g automated dosing chamber. But I only grinds what I needs. It's a little big for a home kitchen but it was cheap and luckily we have plenty of room on the kitchen side. There's a pic on show of your setup which I posted when I got it.

    When I was over in the states I went to a bar which actually did a coffee cocktail. Can't remember what was in it now but it was made with an espresso shot which was then poured over ice. I think it was called a long island iced coffee. And used coffee instead of cola.

Switching the gaggia on for about 20-30 mins as opposed to the obligatory 6 mins before I make an espresso seems to produce a darker crema more consistently - probably because all the internals are at a hotter temperature.     Thought I'd give Hasbeans' JailBreak a go this morning (beans arrived Tuesday). Must say I was impressed with the lovely dark crema! and even as a flat white I could still taste subtle hints of toffee! Glad I bought 2 bags!
