So I grew a pair and left the boiler on and the eddy valve shut and pressure started to build and I am getting hot water and steam but no water from the group head. The machine is now plumbed into the mains water supply so what am I missing? Because I'm still waiting for my new safety valve to...

So I decided to put the old gasket back on the element for now to see if that works as at least it fits in the recess. The machine isn't plumbed into the mains water supply yet so I filled up the boiler with water from a bottle until the sight gauge said it was about 3/4 full. There was a slight...

After taking the element back out it appears the gasket is bigger than the original meaning it doesn't sit in the recess properly, fingers crossed that is why it is leaking but still interested as to whether people use a sealant on gaskets. And also that will teach me to trust things I order to...

Do you put anything on your gaskets when you fit them? I thought I'd use the old safety and Eddy valves for now and just fire it up to see if things worked but as soon as I started to fill up the boiler it leaked from the new element gasket so I was wondering should I have put some sort of...

Me again sorry :) Few questions here if that's ok I've ordered my parts so far from The Espresso Shop and wondered where other people order there stuff from as maybe they have more stock. I've ordered the wrong part. I wanted which I now know to be called an Anti-Eddy Valve thanks to the...

As I was removing the boiler from the casing a bit popped out but I can't see where on earth it comes from. It looks like a reducer from a pipe. I know this is like asking you where the needle is in the haystack but any help gratefully received. If I could identify the model I might be able to...

Yeah thanks, I've ordered a new element it is knackered. Currently stripping it down, don't really know what I'm doing so are there any things you would automatically renew during this process?

Hi, after checking the continuity of my element, I removed it to find.....well a mess is probably an understatement. I have cleaned the majority of the boiler out and wonder what the best method of fully cleaning the boiler is? Thanks
