Thanks this is very helpful! I think you're right that the steam will be less powerful if anything but I've heard that with the three holes you have better control or ability to integrate the air as you've not just got one hole blasting in one direction but three (albeit weaker jets of steam)...

I didn't realise the bambino had a three hole wand?

Not unhappy per se, just always striving for the best I can get from the machine and this seems like a simple (and cheap like you said) upgrade. I do find that the milk tends to start well textured and splits more quickly that is like so wonder if a different tip might incorporate the air better

There must be at least one person on this forum who's tried this? [emoji23] or who can give an opinion?

You'll notice it pulls out automatically every time you pull the drip tray out so it's quite handy for storage!

It's a storage tray, so you can keep spare baskets/tools out of the way. It's not designed as a drip tray.

As it happens I saw this one immediately after ordering the Chinese one and caved at the prospect of next day delivery. Can confirm it looks exactly the same as OP's pics of the Chinese alternative Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Been considering the milk steaming capabilities of the BE and the limitations of the single hole steam want tip. Saw online that someone had bought and used a DB three hole tip (fairly cheap from Sage). Has anyone on this forum done the same? I can't imagine there would be any increase in steam...

Been waiting for a while to see if someone would post about using the opv to get the BE into the 'ideal' range.. I believe John talked about it at length but couldn't find a port about doing it specifically Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Interestingly I find my tolerance to caffeine changes, some days I can have two or three doubles with no problem and others it gives me the shakes and a headache.. I try to keep fairly consistent and one in the morning and one in the afternoon suits my body and my wallet just fine!

Very helpful impressions, thanks. 1kg a week.. that's quite an investment! Luckily I'm the only one using the machine at the moment and I'm trying to keep myself to one/two a day.. still find I get through bags of beans more quickly than expected!

I would agree! ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'd like to try something darker than I have been drinking as I believe the BE grinder deals a bit better with a darker roast
  15. Sage Forum
Was just looking at the Resolute - how dark is the roast? Can't seem to find a description of it..

Any in particular you'd recommend from Origin?

How do you find dealing in each month? And what size/price are the bags?

Enjoy an espresso but my everyday drink is a flat white/cortado. Enjoy chocolate notes, not such a fan of particularly fruity or acidic notes. Would be interested to try a few more nutty notes.. The fudge blend from Rave caught my eye. Pact described all the beans I've received to date as their...

I've been ordering from Pact for the last couple of months and liking the coffee, but interested in trying out something new from somewhere, maybe Black Cat, Rave, or even Square mile.. Interested to hear people's opinions on the above, suggestions for others and their experiences with these...
