  1. Coffee Beans
ok having yet another cup today and this has VASTLY improved... much more palettable, not as...distinctively dark or bitter or flat in terms of flaours I get from the taste. I struggle to articulate all the flavours but each sip gives me more than one flavour profile, which I feel initially I...
  2. Coffee Beans
At a risk of the pitchforks coming out I'm personally not a fan.... Its definitely more my palette that the beans as I am very hit and miss with darker roast beans. I struggle to isolate the flavour but its not almost too "flat" in flavour profile with just one flavour dominating in the cup. As...

40 mins.... wow first I've heard of that! Surely your brew won't be warm? My process is boil a kettle and pour the boiling water into bottom caf and mug to preheat and clean off any remaining residue (especially in all the cafe filter etc). I initially went with 21g in my 3 cup cafe (which i...

Water can't be too hot when using a french press? Wasn't aware of that... I've been waiting 30-60 secs after boil before pouring into my cafeteria... 40 mins?! i presume you meant 4 mins? I do the rest as described, i.e. carefully plunge, only pour out once, don't pour as the silt at the bottom...
