    I've read through the 2016 model thread, but the 2017 model seems to have done away with the control unit and put the auto shut-off timer elsewhere. Does anyone know how to disable the timer function? I'm wondering if it is built directly into the switch, but that seems unlikely given that...

    Another vote for Notes on this list. Their espresso is consistently great (not really had their others), and I found their subscription customer service really good while I had it.

    Had a Gaggia Classic for about 10 years and upgraded to a Rancilio Silvia earlier this year. Now just debating upgrading my five-year-old Iberital MC2 for something a bit easier to adjust. I like to try a lot of different coffees, so taking ages to adjust the grind on the MC2 is a bit tedious.
