I have been using a local (to me) supplier in Cleveland called Teesside Coffee Company for 7 or 8 years. The guy (Matt) used to own a cafe and supplied form there, but then decided to go internet and farmers markets only. I buy 10kg at a time, usually a few KG of each type. I would highly...

I have had the Behmor for quite a few years. I originally bought the 1600, which I converted to the 1600+ (changing the main PCB) and then I bought the newest 2000ab back end of last year. Dont have any experience with others, but hear the Gene Cafe is a little difficult to hear the 1st and...

Had my Fracino Cherub for about 10-12 years, its been used every day and never missed a beat. I have replaced the group head gasket, a group head filter and an internal pipe that started weeping. All for a cost of about ยฃ30 all in. Just got my Eureka Helios 65 yesterday to replace my Baratza...

I did look at that, but for ยฃ100 more the Helios has a 570w motor (XL is 320w), its classed as an industrial machine and i like the screen/light/chute etc. It does make more sense being smaller though. My issue isn't cupboards, its just some shelving. I could easily raise the shelves, but...

So i currently have a Baratza Sette 270 and fancy an upgrade. I have kind of set my sights on Eureka, and been looking at the Helios 65 or the Atom. The Helios looks more substantial and is classed as a professional/business machine, where the Atom is prosumer. If that is the case then why...

Had my Cherub for 10-12 years and its used daily. I have changed a pipe (boiler to steam wand), group head seal and the group head filter and that is it. Parts were very cheap (I would say about ยฃ30 for all the above, delivered next day) and Fracino a pleasure to deal with.

My current set up is a Fracino Cherub, which i have had bout 10-12 years and a Baratza Sette 270 which i have had about 2 years and looking to upgrade to a Eureka Helios 65 (black). Had a few other coffee machines (Gaggia, Nouva Simonelli bean to cup) and a few other grinders (Sette 270w...

Was there any update on this? I am also wanting to upgrade mine to the plus model.

I usually do buy better beans, in fact I used to buy green and roast my own, but these were ones the OH bought as we were running low on them. I will get some more and give it a go when these have ran out.

Well its arrived. Its a little smaller than I thought it would be. And a little louder. At first it wouldn't work and I was getting ready to call CH when I realised I hadn't activated the microswitch on the hopper. Took 3 or 4 shots to dial in, and settled on 16g A15. I'm using Taylors...

Well I joined this site as I have just ordered a 270w (due to come today) and now wish I hadn't, lol. I ordered the refurb from Coffeehit, so hope that it has had any issues already repaired. I am coming from an Iberital MC2 which I have had for MANY years, which has never let me down, except...

New here and sorry for resurrecting an old thread. I have been the happy owner of the Fracino Cherub for around 10 years and use it daily and was wanting to go bottomless. Is this the one you bought from HD https://www.happydonkey.co.uk/faema-bottomless-portafilter.html
